Only load the BGPic you actually need. Do not load all of them. Every image that you load and everything that you draw will block pens. Make sure that LoadBGPic() is the first statement in your code so that it can get as many free pens as possibly available.

Hello!
LoadBGPic is the first command, which loads/displays any graphic.
And I only need one bgpic each run.
But the program should get skinnable. So on each different programstarts, I may need a different bgpic.

Hmm, well, I have no idea :) It doesn't really make sense to me... something *must* be reserving pens... are you creating some brushes with fancy colors, text, etc before you load the picture?
