Hi,
I am turning into an old fart, using Hollywood for hobby projects so I am not an expert at anything. I have found I don't really need Windows for much anymore and started using Linux which has its pros and cons, mostly pros. But I can't use the APK compiler on it so I keep Windows 10 around for it. I keep it disconnected from the internet because it's no longer supported. I don't intend to get Windows 11 for several reasons. I was wondering if there are any plans to make the compiler available for Linux and/or other platforms. When I see the output in the dos window it seems a very complicated piece of software, on the other hand Android is based on Linux and Android Studio runs on Linux too. I also miss the editor in the Windows IDE quite a bit.
Anyway, these are my thoughts and just thought I'd ask.
Windows 86

Re: Windows 86
It's rather unlikely. It's enough work already to keep APK Compiler working on Windows because with almost every new version of Android Studio for Windows the APK Compiler needs to be adapted as well. That's why I'm not too enthusiastic about adding support for another platform...
