Hollywood programming in Linux?

Post by Bugala »

I am thinking of making one laptop of mine into a Linux machine.

But I wonder how could I use it to program with Hollywood. Anyone here have tips to give?

Like, is it called Wine? sound like you could use Linux to run windows software, would that include Hollywood?

Or could you run something like Amikit in Linux to use Hollywood, does it make sense?

Anyone here with any experience on Hollywood on Linux?

Um, you do know that Hollywood is available in native builds for all kinds of Linux platforms? (x86, x64, arm and even PPC). No need to use Windows emulators, just use the real thing (tm) ;)

i have no experience with linux BUT

1) hollywood HAVE a linux player/compiler with GUI like Amiga
2) additional SciTE and vin have some kind of support,
Scite has syntax highlight ,F1 help, and Build funtin (at in windwos all work) so its a nice "IDE"
