Hello everyone.
I'm here with yet another question.
Thanks to many of you, I've discovered a lot of things.
I've also discovered that the Workbench, from kickstart 3.0 onwards, no longer accepts resolutions below 640x200 at 16 colors.
Now I'm curious and maybe I've found the answer but I wanted to be sure from you before I go all out and try 3000 experiments.
How do I know what all the modes Intuition allows me to open?
For example, if I wanted to open a 320x200 NTSC base screen at 32 colors or in HAM6 (OCS), can I do it in Hollywood? How? Is the CreateDisplay() command enough? Is there a complete and detailed list of what can open Hollywood in combination with Intuition?
As always, thanks to everyone

ScreenMode types and resolutions
Re: ScreenMode types and resolutions
?
yes it does can open 320x256 or 320x200 (european /american) at 2 bits also hollywood
i dont think you can use HAM in either hollywood or workbench
HAM is very special mode
have you try something specific that fails ?

Re: ScreenMode types and resolutions
Have not test window mode, but i guess because of window border will need bigger than 320*240 for a 320*240...
Also custom screen is faster so...
