Hollywood program on AmiDock OS4...

Post by Tuxedo »

Hi,
I noticed that if I put an hollywood program on AmiDock (I use it on AmigaOS4 dunno how it function on other OSes), if I drag a file over from the same directory where the program was it was Launched same as I press on it...

If instead I drag a file from another path of the program path I getr that message:

"Hollywood Player" : Flie xxx does not exists!

xxx was my file name.

Why happen that? There was a way to solve that?

Thank you!

Please provide a very short example that demonstrates the problem.

The code lenght of type dont matter...

however try that:

Code: Select all

@DISPLAY {HIDDEN = TRUE}

DebugPrint("CIAO!")
compile it and than put it in AmiDock...

- If you launch it from AMiDock it works
- If you drag over it in AmiDock a file that wasnt a directory it will open normally...
- If you drag over it in AmiDock a dir or a file in another path you get the error message and its weird to me...

Thank you.

Ok, this is indeed broken in 4.8. But it's working in my current development branch so I already seem to have fixed it :)
