Hello,

Andreas, do you plan global settings for Designer?

As an example, I would like my text objects to be created with anti-aliasing by default, so that I don't have to manually change the setting after every object I create.

Settings like this would help a lot the people that use the Designer intensively.

Hmm, I don't know if this is really necessary because Designer should always remember the last settings. So if you always work with antialiased fonts, it should always be selected by default? Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what my memory tells me :)

Oh yes, I didn't notice this one. Thanks.

So here is another one. Right now when you select the text button in the toolbar, the text window opens immediately and when I press OK on it, the designer creates the text on the top left of the page. What about changing it to:

- press the text button, the mouse pointer becomes a crosshair
- you select the location on the page for the text, then the text window appears

I don't want to use the crosshairs for that because it would only be confusing as the crosshairs are normally used to select a point and then create an object by holding down LMB and this is not the case for text objects.
Then just change the mouse pointer. Maybe something like: http://www.freeclipartnow.com/d/41664-1 ... target.jpg
