Hello, I've just bought a copy of Hollywood and I hope to produce something interesting for AROS (and of course for the other Amiga platforms out there). I very happy to see that Hollywood is very similar with LUA; it's about two years that I'm trying to code a database engine written with this wonderful language (you can see more here http://xoomer.alice.it/allanon71/).
Regards Fabio

Hello Fabio!
Welcome to this group! Nice to see somenone from the AROS side. I am very courious about your experiences because I have failed to create AROS ports of my works before.
The database engine is interesting too. I have a simpler but similar engine in 68k assembly that I would like to tranform to a Hollywood library (in C of course). That should create a lot of possibilities for Hollywood.
So please post your following experiences!

I hope to help but don't expect too much because I'm a totally "C" noob! My experience with AROS is limited with my SDB project, Lua (AmiLua and Zulu ports), I have some general knowledge, but feel free to askHello Fabio!

Yes, endless possibilities! Hollywood is a powerful programming tool and with an internal database engine and an interface to gadtools.library or something similar will became a must! The database engine is interesting too. SDB is still in development but quiet working at this stage, time permitting it will became relational soon. I'd like to convert the engine in Hollywood and set up a nice ui for the final user. Do you know if exists a library/plugin to build interfaces with Hollywood? Or should I build one on my own?So please post your following experiences!
Regards Fabio
