[22 Mar 2007] Updates for Hollywood 2.5 & Hollywood Designer 2.0

Two new updates for users of Hollywood 2.5 and Hollywood Designer 2.0 are now available in the restricted area for customers on the Airsoft Softwair homepage. With these two updates it is now possible to use different charsets than ISO 8859-1 with Hollywood as well. This allows you for example to use Eastern European charsets with Hollywood. Furthermore, some bugs have been fixed and it is now possible to quit Hollywood without problems from a CLI using CTRL-C.

These two updates are only for users of the download versions of Hollywood 2.5 and Hollywood Designer 2.0. The versions that come on CD already contain the latest versions of Hollywood 2.5 and Hollywood Designer 2.0. All registered customers can now log onto the Airsoft Softwair homepage with their username and password and download the new versions.

Ever since updating to Hollywood V2.5 and Designer V2.0 last night i cant get anything to work?

I have tried the hollywood examples and the Designer examples, the hollywood scripts open a window as normal but at the end the window closes and thats it.

In Designer the script loads ok but when i try to "Run" the script nothing happens?

BTW i have replaced amigainput.library as said in the instructions.

Sounds like you have an outdated keyfile which can happen if you used the wrong MakeISO tool to generate the Hollywood 2.5 ISO. You have to use the MakeISO tool that came with Hollywood 2.5 Download version. Do not use the MakeISO tool from Hollywood 2.0!

I'll send the e-mail with the correct hwdv_install.lzh to you again. Use this to create a new ISO, burn this ISO, delete Hollywood:System/Hollywood.key and install Hollywood 2.5 over again. It will work then!

I have sorted it, found the correct makeISO dir on my HD. I think its time for a spring clean.
