Does it happen with all videos or only some?

What is your system again? I guess you're on OS4.1 FE but which graphics board and which hardware?

@mbrantley:
Please do also let me know your system configuration.

SAM 460/AmigaOne 4.1 FE
Radeon RV730 with RadeonHD 2 Driver version 2.10
I don't use Wazp and Warp3D is not even supported by my graphics card.

Apologies for delay and getting back to this. All videos I have tried through Hollywood Designer are now playing in monochrome. I am now using an R9 270 card, but the behavior was the same with my Radeon HD 6850. System is an X1000 running AOS4.1 FE and latest RadeonHD driver.

Can you both try if the problem disappears when running Hollywood in USEWPA mode? i.e. start the VideoPlayer example as follows from a shell:

Code: Select all

1> Hollywood Hollywood:Examples/Hollywood/VideoPlayer/VideoPlayer.hws -usewpa
Is it still black & white?

Using that shell line to launch the sample Hollywood video player, I am able to play any supported video in color without any problem. Without the usewpa option they are in B&W.

Exactly the same behaviour as mbrantley.

Ok, then it's related to the hardware accelerated video decoding. I'm still using beta versions of the RadeonHD drivers. I'll upgrade to the official ones and see if I can reproduce it here on the X1000 then.
