Apparently in MUI 4 this is already possible, but doesn't appear to have been implemented yet ; in AmigaOS at least.

In fact I've never seen it work in any AmigaOS application... MUI... ReAction or otherwise... is it at all possible? Anything you can say to shade some light on this one Andreas?

Thanks.

Yes, it is possible with MUI 4 but only in context menus. It's not possible to use icons in the screen's menu bar because they are drawn by Intuition, not by MUI.

MUI Royale, however, currently doesn't support icons in context menus but I'll add this for the next version.

Well i guess that's half good news, presumably it will be done the same way as buttons and everywhere else, and also ignored if not supported.
I'll go ahead with support for it on context menus within my builder.

Also check out the latest beta of MUI Royale which already supports this.

I've just seen that OS4.1 Final Edition supports images in Intuition menus now. So maybe MUI will also support this in the future. Then it could also be supported by MUI Royale...
