Can someone address me to some tutorial for the masking?.
I can not understand the behaviour.
In many cases (see OS4 themes) the graphics items have a file with the picture and a second one b/w with the masking named dot mask. How can I apply the .mask to the correspondent brush picture?

No idea what these mask files are about. Hollywood doesn't support them. Check the documentation for information on Hollywood masks and alpha channels.

Can you do "LoadBrush" and DisplayBrush" on that mask file?

If yes it should theoretically be possible to blit (i.e. DisplayBrush) the mask into the image brush.
