Out of memory

Hi ppl, after some months of using Hollywood4.7 i found out a very strange problem... when trying to load a picture (as sprite or bgpic or brush) that is larger than 1MB, Hollywood says "out of memory"... i would have to do some more tests but in general i tried jpgs (3,3mb and 1,1mb or more) and the result is "out of memory!"... pics with size under 1mb seem to work fine...

Are you on OS4 and is the picture wider than ~8192 pixels or so? Then you've encountered an OS4 limitation. You can workaround this by using the USEWPA argument.

Thanx for your reply Andreas!
Sorry i forgot to mention it - i am only MOs user, no OS4... but anyway, the problem i mentioned above with "out of memory" is now gone... maybe it was a collision with another running task but after a reboot everything is ok now and loading bg pics and brushes works well! tested with a 3,3mb pic (3192x2240) and 1,9 mb pic... thhanx again for your reply pecaN
