Does anyone have any experience with this software? Is it worth the investment?

I have only from earlier Digibooster, I guess it was number 2, and of course depending what you are looking for, but if you are looking for a Tracker kind of music sofrware, then yes, I thought Digibooster was best one there is.

I might have preferred using Octamed still over Digibooster from GUI point of view, but Digibooster had more features, if I correctly remember, you were for example able to put two effects on a same line of a same channel, instead of just one, like every other trackers limit was. This was somewhat useful feature if you happened to like using that feature.

To give you an example, one common usage for this effect was to control to volume of a sound. You might have wanted to fade the sound out, by adding each line a different volume, like first line 63, next one 62, then 61... until you reach 0, effectively giving you fade out.

But, suppose you were using that sound with some effect at same time. Maybe you used some sort of echo system for example, or changed the speed for every hit, you couldnt do that at same time, since you could only do one effect per line, although in this case it usually isnt that critical, since you could instead of setting volume every line down by 1 less, just use every second line to affect the volume by 2, but just as en easy example, this is something you couldnt do with other trackers, only with Digibooster, supposing I recall correctly, itse been years since I last used it.

Thanks for the info.
As long as Renoise isn't available, this seemed like a good option, but I wasn't sure.
