A quick request - would it be possible to add superscript and subscript to the PRINTtext format tages at any point?

Yes, actually, there'll be some major improvements to the text engine in the next version, including superscript and subscript.

This will come as part of a new plugin that will make all your text dreams come true. The plugin will make use of Hollywood X's new text interface and will support layouting any kind of text (exotic languages, Asian languages, RTL, emojis...) and also superscript and subscript.

Sounds brilliant! The new grouping of layers looks really valuable too. Once next month's credit card is paid off it will be time to upgrade
