Hello, for everyone interested below there is a link to a youtube video of SCUI at work. The recording was done on my notebook with the demo compiled for Windows because I've no idea how to record a video on WinUAE, every suggestions will help :)

Now SCUI supports emulated windows, take a look at the video ^^ http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=8yR-JqAAP98

Wow, this is really, really great! Can't wait to have and use it (any release dates? :-D)! Maybe this could become an offical part of Hollywood? Seems that you would deserve it ...

Keep up the good work!

Very cool!

I'm wondering about the implementation.... do you use layers or sprites?

Actually I'm using only one brush for the screen layer (and its gadgets) and then I rebuild the interface over it (the windows and their gadgets). When will be a function to grab a portion of the screen I will move the windows with brushes too. For overlapping buttons (ie one window over another) I disable/enable them according to the active window. Hollywood is a must, thank you for your product :)

I hope to release it soon but can't say a date, there is some tuning needed in the code, and I want to implement these feature before release:

- Support for pictures (inside buttons, bevels, ecc...)
- Implement something to support simple vector based graphics (very
usefull for gadgets like arrows)
- Load & Save themes
- Documentation

Thank you all for your interest ^^

Regards, Fabio

Ok, the planed features sounds good, but I wouldn't mind if they would not be in the first release! :-) Don't get me wrong, but I think, your library right now seems fit most needs. The picture stuff is a nice to have, but it would be enough (at least for me) to have it in a later release.

You see, I and we are really fascinated and in need of your library. :-)

Ok then, I will clean up the code adjusting it here and there and then I will public a beta release :)

Thank you for your interest ^^

Hi there!
Ok then, I will clean up the code adjusting it here and there and then I will public a beta release :)
That is exactly what I wanna to read. :-)

Well, I am just wondering whether you can compile SCUI as a kind of library that can be included to Hollywood projects but the source code could not be seen by us? Or do you _have to_ give us your plain hws files, that we do include then?

Cheers Micha
