I now have it working in FS-UAE so it must be an issue with the p96 Classic workbench

Probably yes but I may do one more. I'd like use a more powerful system and hopefully Hollywood can help my quest.
I'd like to make a text / graphic adventure , point & click and a few arcade type things as well as other things
We will see how I get on with this

I currently don't have access to the Hollywood sources, so I can't check but it might be that the GUI needs picture.datatype with v43 enhancements. I'm not sure. Hollywood itself, however, works without it so if you just start it from Shell it should work fine, e.g.
Code: Select all
1> Hollywood Hollywood:Examples/Hollywood/3DText/3DText.hws

Thanks
I'll see if I have that datatype and I'll try to get it running on my real Amiga

All sorted now,
I copied my data types and classes data types folder from OS3.1 classic workbench over to my P96 classic work bench and all is well.
Just compiled the flood fill example to OS3 and Mac executable and it works perfectly.
Very impressed! I foresee many hours lost here...
First job is make a slide show and then a little text & picture adventure game ...
Mike.
