This really looks like a Vampire issue to me. IsLeftMouse() simply queries a flag that is set and cleared on the respective IDCMP messages, there's not much else going on here.... but on the good news side: I'm planning to get a Vampire this year so then I'll be able to debug this for myself and probably tell the Vampire team what the problem is...
