Hello,
is there a way to create a form in Hollywood which let's say:
- two fields and one okay Button
- You enter text in the two fields
- Click the okay button
- and the the script does something with the text you entered
It should look like a real form, so you should see the fields, click in them and then be able to enter your text.
Cheers Yvan

Hello Fabio,
I already heard about this great package and planned to test it one day. But before I can test it I have to upgrade my Hollywood version. I'm still using 1.9 and your lib requires 3.1.
As I will not purchase the newest version tommorow I still have to ask.
Is there a way to do this with Hollywood 1.9?
Cheers Yvan

Best idea would be to upgrade to 3.1 and use ScuiLib. This is as easy as it gets.
Theoretically, yes, but practically, no, because it would be a hell lot of work to implement forms in Hollywood 1.9.Hello Fabio,

Hello Andreas,
okay thanks. I think I know the theoretical way. This is the reason why I searched for another way. Okay, I willl save this until I update to 3.1.
Cheers

Hi
I uploaded a file to the files section here last sunday (JSPGui..) It is a framework for doing your own controls but also includes some usable controls, among them those you mention. It is not a polished set of finished controls like SCUIlib, more like building blocks for making controls, but then it takes up only a few kilobytes and is intentionally written in a code style that makes it easy to modify the behaviour of existing controls or make your own. There is also nearly 50 pages of docs in a pdf file.
PS. A small change in the code will fix the annoying flicker in the text box that Andreas mentioned in his mail on the release. The code change is in my reply to his mail.
Have fun
regards Jesper
