Installing in AmigaOS 3.1.4

Post by SantiDarkG »

Hey guys, my first post here :)

I was trying to install a clean AmigaOS and the next step will be Hollywood. Everything was installed but when I tried to assign the path for my keyfile, it says that my key could not be validated.

Just asking if you guys tried to install on 3.1.4 version ??

Andreas, did you try too ?

thanks guys.

Santi!!! Great to have you here!

Well, I think I had a similar problem some months ago. I even contacted Andreas. I'll have to look up the email conversation as I am not sure how we fixed it. Maybe I just installed Hollywood again overwriting the existing files. Or just copying the keyfile by hand to the needed location.

Cheers!
Currently using: Hollywood 9 with Windows IDE and Hollywood 9 with Visual Studio Code and hw4vsc

This is a known problem with 3.1.4. Since keyfile validation happens at the very end of the installer, you can just abort it at this point and manually copy Hollywood.key to Hollywood:System. Then you're all set :)
