Although I configured to get mail notifications in the "User Control Panel" I never get a mail. Do ypu all get mails? Or is there sth broken?
There are no mails in the spam folder either.
EDIT: But I do get the board notifications show in the upper right corner.

I get at least "Someone replies to a topic to which you are subscribed" mails just fine...

Hmm, didn't get one. Should I receive a notification even if it's me that is replying to the topic or should they only be sent if someone replies? I'm not so familiar with phpBB.

Let's test it. At least _now_ you should get one. But this also depends on your notification settings in your profile.

Maybe you have access to the php-error.log or maybe there is a phpbb internal log file which could show problems when sending mails!?

Yes, for your reply to this thread I now got a mail notification. So it works here. Are you sure that it isn't a configuration problem on your side because it seems rather odd that it works for me, plouf, and jPV but not for you...
