I thought I should report that Hollywood 5.2 crashes when put to fullscreen with AROS IntelGMA native graphics driver. The error report is:
Program Failed!
Task: 0xo9FBF010 - Hollywood:System/Hollywood
Error: 0x80000005 - Division by zero
PC: 0x3F437EA9
This occurs at the 'preparing display...' message. This does not happen on this machine with Hollywood 5.0 and does not happen at all with AROS on a nouveau graphics machine. Windowed programs are fine too.
Thanks,
Nigel.

Re: Fullscreen crash with AROS IntelGMA driver with 5.2
Hmm, strange. We had some reports about fullscreen problems on Sam460 too so there might be a problem. Of course, on AROS crashes have to be taken with a grain of salt because AROS itself is just alphaware. I'm interested in two things:
a) Does it only happen with the IntelGMA drivers or does it crash generally?
b) Does it really work with Hollywood 5.0?

Hi Andreas,
Yes and yes. Fullscreen is fine with the noveau driver (on a gforce 8400gs card) and I've just tried 5.0 again fullscreen with intelGMA - no problems. Tested with 'circletext' demo and my 'LoginManager' application for AROS.
Thanks,
Nigel.

That's strange because there weren't any changes in the full screen code between 5.0 and 5.2 so to me it looks more like an AROS issue.

Thanks - I'll put up a post at aros-exec.org and see what the devs. think.
