Hello

I've posted a topic here http://forums.hollywood-mal.com/viewtop ... f=14&t=185 about TTF fonts and Designer.

I'd like to install TTF fonts on my Amiga (68k) and use cross-compilation to export a project with fonts working for others platforms.

How can I use TTF fonts on Amiga ? Should I use ttflib?

Thanks for your help, I'm a bit lost.

Hello,

Solution Install ttflib http://aminet.net/search?query=ttflib

Load your .ttf font in ttflib, install font in FONTS:

Open Designer and type the EXACT name of your TTF font (as displayed in ttflib) Then, enter size.

That's all. Your TTF font will be used and compiled with exec for every platform.

Hello,

Solution -----------

Install ttflib http://aminet.net/search?query=ttflib

Load your .ttf font in ttflib, install font in FONTS:

Open Designer and type the EXACT name of your TTF font (as displayed in ttflib) Then, enter size.

That's all. Your TTF font will be used and compiled with exec for every platform.
I don't recommend using ttflib. The best idea is to use the new platform independent font engine. Just copy all the *.ttf files to FONTS:truetype and then Hollywood and Designer will be able to open them if you activate platform independent text.
