I was just wondering, if there will ever be a multi-platform browser plugin to play applets? I mean, if there was we could finally beat the c*** out of that Flash monster

Unlikely, doing Internet things is horrible because your program has to be 100% exploit proof or otherwise people will use it to run malware using it and I've to do fixes every 2 days. Sucks
