Kind of. It now always seems to return "15" although the screen mode requester says 24bit.Is this bug still available under AROS?

I reported it to the MorphOS team and they fixed it for MorphOS 2. But I don't know if their fixes do go back into AROS.Have this bug been communicatted to it's "owner" AmiKit or Bernd of AfAOS? And in the AROS case to the AROS developers mailing list?

Are you using other attributes than me?

I'm on the AROS developer mailing list. But first I want to reproduce the problem. And in the AROS case to the AROS developers mailing list?
I've attached the source and binary for a test. It works for me on Hosted/Linux. But there are only 24 bit modes available. Does the problem appear on Hosted or Native? If latter, what graphics driver do you have.I reported it to the MorphOS team and they fixed it for MorphOS 2. But I don't know if their fixes do go back into AROS.

I'm using the hosted version but it's not the latest nightly build. It should be from around beginning of December 2009. IIRC, you need to leave out ASLSM_DoDepth in order to trigger the error. At least this was how to trigger it on MorphOS and I assume they've used the same codebase as AROS. Probably AROS is not setting sm_DisplayDepth at all if ASLSM_DoDepth was not specified.I've attached the source and binary for a test. It works for me on Hosted/Linux. Aha. Without DoDepth it returned "2" while it should be "24". Thanks for your support. Bug hunting timeI'm using the hosted version but it's not the latest nightly build.
