Polybios fails and hangs the program if loaded from a path with spaces

This happens at least on all Amiga compatible platforms, but not on Windows. Haven't tried others.
If I don't have polybios installed in libs:hollywood, but load it from the program directory, and if I have spaces in the path name, Polybios fails to open any PDF file and the compiled program hangs (can't be quitted with ctrl-c or anything).
For example, if I have a compiled program in "Work:poly bios test/polybiostest" and run it on MorphOS (or AmigaOS), a shell window pops up telling:
Work:poly: Unknown command
Work:poly failed returncode 10
Or if I have the compiled program in "Ram Disk:polybiostest/polybiostest", the output says:
Ram: Unknown command
Ram failed returncode 10
So, it looks that execution of something (polybios.ext?) fails because the name gets cutted to the first space in the path name.
