@DISPLAY vs CreateDisplay arguments

Is there any reason why @DISPLAY does not accept variables for arguments, while CreateDisplay does? I made an example to show what works. mywidth = 600 myheight = 400 mycol = "$959595" CreateBGPic(1, mywidth-400, myheight-300, #WHITE) @DISPLAY {width = 800, height = 600, color = #GREEN} CreateDispla...

Re: How handle dates to make a little agenda?

Here is a working example for an addressbook, with the option to export the data as a text file or cvs style. The user interface is very basic though @DISPLAY {Title = "Addressbook", x = 100, y = 100, Width = 480, Height = 620, Color = #WHITE, Noclose = True, Sizeable = True} ; check for previously ...

Does it have to be human readable text files? If not, you could use WriteTable() and ReadTable() to get a really easy solution.
Could you please make a small working example, similar to the one I posted?

Re: How handle dates to make a little agenda?

Re: Layers and brushes

Thanks. I did test with DumpLayers(), and it does look like the layer is created only first time the brush is displayed. Next time MoveBrush() is called there will not be a new layer.

Layers and brushes

I did make a small program with a smiley brush that bounces around in a window. At first the brush had some pixels of white borders so that it would always overwrite the edges of the old position when moved. But when increasing the speed so that it would move more pixels than the border, it would le...

Windows IDE crashing when typing

Is this a known bug? If I type the three following characters the ide.exe will crash every time: c:/ This is Hollywood8, on windows 7, 32-bit. I discovered this by accident when forgetting to put parenthesis before writing a file path. And the crash is immediately as I type them in the editor. It ac...

Re: Is my A4000 to slow for HollyWood?

If you have a chance of for example recording with your phone about running those programs with your A4000, I would be very much interested in seeing, since I have been thinking this graphics system that would sort of scale the graphics down in hopes of getting some lighter games to work with Class...
