Re: Possible bug with the GUI on Amiga 68k

This doesn't make sense at all. All that has changed between 9.1 and 10.0 in the GUI is that there is a new entry for macOS arm 64-bit, nothing else. All layouting is done by MUI so this looks like a MUI bug. What is your MUI version? But I am using the same MUI for 9.1 and 10.0, the 3.5 and it has...

Re: Possible bug with the GUI on Amiga 68k

Well I can you see how on Amiga OS 3.2 the IDE has the same problem, the only difference with AmigaOS 3.9 is that in this system I haven't installed MUI.

Re: Possible bug with the GUI on Amiga 68k

Here are the screenshots from the same AmigaOS3.9 and the Hollywood 10 was installed on the old 9.1. https://www.morguesoft.eu/Fotos/Hollywood9-1.jpg https://www.morguesoft.eu/Fotos/Hollywood10.jpg The screen size is 1280x1024 and you can see the problem in the left button to chose the target system...

Re: Linux and the APPICON

Yes here is the example: https://www.morguesoft.eu/Fotos/LinuxShot01.png Ok, now I see what you mean. Linux executables don't support embedding icons in them like on Windows or macOS so this is a Linux limitation. On Linux the only effect @APPICON will have is that the icon will appear in the title...

Re: ListRequest error

A little suggestion you don't forget include the plugins to play sound music formats, because sometime you have errors because the sound file isn't support without the plugin.

Re: Possible bug with the GUI on Amiga 68k

You haven't answered my question about your screen resolution (see above). From the screenshots I'd guess that your screen height is too small and that's why MUI tries to compress the gadgets so that it fits the small screen height and that's why it looks crushed. Remember that Hollywood 10 has one...

Re: Linux and the APPICON

Can you post a screenshot? I'm not sure which icon you're referring to. Yes here is the example: https://www.morguesoft.eu/Fotos/LinuxShot01.png The game project hast the @APPICON and it works fine on Windows, but on Linux the system shows that gear wheel, even in the own Hollywood, Hollywood Playe...

Re: Linux and the APPICON

I have no knowledge about linux behaviour Just an idea , have you try using SaveIcon() aka hollywoods own format ? No, I not though in the SaveIcon() solution, the icons on Linux are different to Windows, these look have less colors and perhaps Hollywood on Linux not support the PNG icons, as on Wi...

Linux and the APPICON

I have a problem with the instruction @APPICON and Linux Ubuntu program and games, the executable doesn't show the appicon although this icon on Windows is showed correctly, by default Linux shows an ugly gear wheel, what is the problem? I spoke about this issue on MacOS PPC several years ago, but n...
