Re: "Could not allocate audio channel for this sound!" - how to fix?
According to manual hollywood allocates 8 channels by default
So by defualt 8 chan is the top
Allocchannels command line command should be used if you need more
But "more" maybe hit aome limits (guess not sure) in paula based amigas for example

Re: PROPOSAL-DISCUSSION , Official Move to OpenSource "IDE" ?
Its no violates any term.
Hollywood had a term to not create somethink completelly wrapping hollywood functions, and call this "plouf-complier"
Like
Function Plouf_cls()
Cls()
Endfunction
Otherwise is allowed
If you plan to make a full blown IDE in hollywood you are welcome

Re: PROPOSAL-DISCUSSION , Official Move to OpenSource "IDE" ?
yes but this "proposal" completely removes develpment time from Andreas.
Since developing something in Rapagui would be crossplatform offcourse, but still will need significant develpment time, and practically will never meet completion level of huge IDE ...

Re: PROPOSAL-DISCUSSION , Official Move to OpenSource "IDE" ?
Ok on a second thought i think you misunderstood
I dont propose to open the source code of current IDE
but use an opensource one,like eclipse, synwrite etc
As the official one, with some modifications to suit hollywood needs
