under many situation raw data should be send / received
for example send variables

right now as i understand it possible but work must be done (convert data to bytes etc..)

interensting ...

however i want to sen binary data all values . so this is possible but complicates stuff..

hollywood has send data but accept string
ho if i wand to send binary data (with a lot of 0 inside data) ?

in general, to speak for my need's , i use some development tools (hardware) and/or devices , like POS, DVR, AlarmPanel's and many more that they have serial. as we know, there is no serial in android or new PC's (at least easy) but we use usb<>rs232 adaptors most widely used chips for these devices...

Old post but RS232 is NOT only usefull for amiga users... many devices and most development hardware user RS232 today and possible forever when they use USB its a usb<>rs232 converter therefore again serial... imho it would be very usefull in android to suport some converters like FTDI who is the mo...

updated to apk compiler 2.3 ... no change

Hello i just download APK compiler and tried some apps whatever i try to compile it crash on phone. i.e. start and crash immediately ! (not drawing nothing just crash) offcouse app is runing ok with player, but i have also tried demo examples (circle etc) tried both arm and arm7 ... phone is NEXUS 5...
