Re: Hollywood APK Compiler 1.0 released

Hi

What are the chances of a 'glgalore.hwp' for Android? I notice that there is currently no plugin version listed on the download page. So running programs with OpenGL/glgalore code on the tablet is obviously not possible. But is it in the cards?

Re: Hollywood 6.1 released

Hi Thanks for the link to the older version of the NDK. Compilations now work, and they run on my Asus TF700 Android tablet. Wellllll.... actually the first test produced an amusing message from the compiler: "Hollywood applet too small" Bu then, perhaps a 'Hello World' program is really too simple....

Re: Hollywood 6.1 released

Hi I run a Win10, 64bit installation with Hollywood 6.1. Installation of APK compiler was done as indicated in the manual, except that i installed the complete Android Studio and then used the standalone manager as suggested from there. Anyway that seems to be ok. All other installation steps are co...

Oddity when printing from Win10 and a solution

Hi I have encountered an oddity when printing from the Windows IDE of Hollywood 6.0 using a HP CP4025 Laser Jet. This only happens on a PC with Win10, but not on another PC with Win7. Win7 works with no configuration to the printer setup. Printing from other applications do work in Win10 however, so...

Re: Prevent a sprite (which follows the mouse) out of a circ

Hi Just a thought... May be you can sort of reverse the problem and create a bigger circular sprite as a sort of zone. If they collide - you are inside the zone and all is well. I guess it should work though I haven't tried. It has the advantage that the 'zone' sprite can be moved around easily if t...

Access to #SIMPLEBUTTON objects

Hi Would it be possible to include a #SIMPLEBUTTON object in the list of objects that the function GetObjects() can access? Or is the #SIMPLEBUTTOM not really an object...? The idea is to make it possible to traverse the list of #SIMPLEBUTTON objects and do stuff like deleting them all or whatever. ...

Re: userdata for functions.

Hi

Check out the LUA manual here : http://www.lua.org/pil/16.4.html.

There are some examples on making 'private' properties and methods. I think this may be what you want.

Re: Must I use Display 1 for HW acc. stuff

Hi

Using @BRUSH with an explicitly assigned display will do just fine. Thanks :)

Re: MakeButton and DoubleBuffer Displays

Hi

Yes, executing the MakeButton() statement before setting up a DoubleBuffer works for me too. thanks. Since I experiment with multiple displays I just have to be careful that I have activated the right display for my MakeButton() statements.. :)

Re: Must I use Display 1 for HW acc. stuff

Hi Ok. I think I found out where I went wrong. I had some code like this... and it works when I explicitly tell the brush to belong to Display 2 as in the example. The problem is, that Display 1 is always implicitly in existence, unless it is deliberately removed. Also if I don't put the Display=<di...
