Re: How to get access to embedded/linked files?

I'm writing a small installer that will copy two files embedded in the installer. The files are in the executable, but I do not have access to them. With the relative path (win7, hw4.7: "blabla\\file.exe" | aos3.9, hw4.8: "blabla/file.exe "), as they were embedded, it does not work. How to get acce...

Re: Flipclock V1.0

Sorry to say that, but there are some Users out there, who don´t can´t or wan´t enable the compositing on AmigaOS4.1 on 16bit/32bit-Screens, because they would run out of videomem very fast in high resolutions and heavy screen-usuage. Re: AmigaOS4.1 Programm icon

That must be a bug in your code. Hollywood doesn't care about the filename of the icon passed to SetWBIcon().

Re: Hollywood on different systems speed comparison...

It could also be that fetching Intuition events is slower on OS4 than on MorphOS. Hollywood fetches these events quite often to stay fully responsive. If OS4 is slower here than MorphOS this would be an explanation for the significant speed differences between both systems.

Re: Flipclock V1.0

Um, display transparency is already possible....

Re: TextWidth() with Format Tags

This might be supported in the future. As a workaround, you can write a function which breaks down a formatted string into its constituents and then call TextWidth() for each constituent. As both TextWidth() and TextExtent() take the style set using SetFontStyle() into account you can just set the s...
