but this is only part of your code .
how do we know that is not a problem in your program? like saving a 0 character and reading back strings , creating the problem ?

also hollywood has saveprefs and loadprefs which maybe a more proprietary way to do it

you shoulld run the command in order to do it IDE has not yet has it

hollywood test.hws -compile test.hwa -exetype android

already fixed... but in hollywood 9 i guess :)

well done and intresting (dont know how difficult is) would be the posiibility for Search function to have next and previous arrows right know i have to push ctrl+s + enter for next it would be more convient if search windwo remains open and go to nect - next - previous etc ideally a list of of page...

but i think you proposal do not help since
i usually just need to push F5 in "IDE" while changing any include

additional working with "alternative" editor (not special hs4vsc) compiling option tha they have (like build-run) they pass current source file as argument

also opening filter should include more and imho default xml too (since is xml part of RapaGUI and other) That's already there, isn't it? In the file open dialog, just use the type widget to change the filter from "Hollywood scripts" to "Text files", which includes XML. not well explained :) i mean...

Yes, definitely. I understand plouf's proposal now but this is tricky to implement because obviously the main file has to be parsed first but if there was something like @MAINFILE, the parser would have to stop parsing the current file and then restart parsing in the main file etc. i dont know the ...

nop since a) will end in endless loop of including mainfile, mainfile will include file1, file1 will include again mainfile etc b) the possibility of INCLUDEONCE (this is another idea :)) will be better but will not follow include order as using includeonce will have diffirend order of including fil...
