Image format with IsPicture

Could IsPicture() return the image format also in the table with other information? I'd like to check if images I let user select are JPEG or PNG, etc... I have couple cases in my mind where I'd like to use that information. Guessing from the extension isn't reliable always...

Re: Rasberry pi Linux and Hollywood

MorphOS has built-in support for Linux filesystems, but if you're using EXT4, then it's read-only. EXT2 and 3 can be written too. Here's more about filesystems supported by MorphOS: https://library.morph.zone/Filesystems If the card doesn't automount the partitions you want, use the SYS:Tools/Mounte...

Re: SaveBrush() - artefacts

So it is not possible, to Save PNG-Pictures with Transparency at all?? Hmm.. I don't quite get the issue by having this quick look at the thread, but at least I haven't had issues saving PNG images with RNOEffects, for example. There I either load existing PNG image with transparency or create a ne...

Re: I find function Volume exists

I get a system requester asking to insert the volume, but at least Hollywood program continues and it doesn't make a "Hollywood error". But yeah, it would be nice to get a "quiet" option to check if a volume is available. For example, the "If" shell command in MorphOS has a "NOREQ" option which supp...

Re: RNOPDF

It's so what Andreas is written it. I replaced the spaces in the folder name with an underscore and now I can open a PDF file. But this is a stupid behavior, would be nice if it would work with spaces as well. Yes, it's a bug in the Polybios plugin and Andreas will fix it for the next version. It s...

Re: RNOPDF

The 1.078.896 bytes version is 1.0a, which was a bugfix update for Amiga platforms only. So that's why I release with it, but maybe there's some new bug introduced too? I tried to mix both versions, but couldn't still reproduce anything on my setup, so I'm pretty much out of ideas now on. Hopefully ...

#MODE_READWRITE and read/seek/write on Amiga compatibles

It seems there's something wrong when you try to seek&write after reading from a file. If you don't read first, then seeking and writing works. This happens on MorphOS, OS3, and OS4, but not on Windows. f$="ram:test.txt" ; This writes to the middle of the file as supposed StringToFile("abcdefg", f$)...

Re: RNOPDF

No, I can't. It works here with every combination (in progdir, in libs, in both) on my emulated OS4.1FE setup. It's a plain installation without any updates... But three OS4 users have now reported that it doesn't open PDF files, or it freezes when trying, if Polybios files are in the progdir. Some ...

Re: RNOPDF

That was the point jPV, both polybios files removed from the folder and now running. I wonder why this happens on some OS4 users. Some reported that it works just fine after unpacking and keeping polybios files in the program dir, but then some have this problem that they have to remove the files f...
