comparison or assignment

It's about the "=" operator. Is there an enough important reason the Hollywood uses the same operator "=" for comparison and assignments as well? My code grows up, and it makes me confused sometimes looking through and seeing e.g. val=0. I had to stop for a while and hard figure out is it an assignm...

Re: Set background to a RGB color

It's currently not possible to specify a direct color here, but I can add that if you need it, although hard-coding colors is mostly against the MUI style guide because it could easily clash with user-defined colours and textures. Normally, all those things should be left to the user... The MUI its...

Re: Tables: initializing elements

It doesn't make sense. Do you want to say that SplitStr(GetTime(True),":") considers 0, 1 and 2 elements as already occupied and expects another three: 3, 4 and 5?

Tables: initializing elements

I need to get a time string, for example: "21:52:20", splitted into a tgree element table. Function UpdateTime() time = {hour="00", mins="00", secs="00"} time = SplitStr(GetTime(True),":") If time["secs"]= "20" Then mui.Set("sl_min", "value", "20") EndFunction I get error: "Table field "secs" was no...

Thank you guys. You're great.

@ airsoftsoftwair

Re: WB Icon

Can it be the SetWBIcon is ignored here at all? I did like this SetWBIcon(appicon$, #AMIGAICON_SETTITLE) on purpose. I know #AMIGAICON_SETTITLE requires following parameter. The compiler didn't claimed it. The executable caused no error requesters. Cubic IDE doesn't colorize this function. It made m...

Btw2, the SetWBIcon woun't work HERE. I do like this: appicon$ = AddStr(GetCurrentDirectory(), "/Daysleeper2.info") SetWBIcon(appicon$) SetWBIcon(appicon$, #AMIGAICON_SHOW) I also tried without full path: SetWBIcon("Daysleeper2.info") SetWBIcon("Daysleeper2.info", #AMIGAICON_SHOW) I tried with both:...

Btw, you're right. I have replaced the icon with a PNG one and it solved the problem. I'm pleased with it, but there is a little bitter aftertaste at the end. I prefer NewIcons - the two state glow ones. I don't like PNG. Is there a solution?
