Error handling is not really a clean way, as a dirty trick I was thinking of disabling error messages and execute the command, then turn error handling back on, but would rather not do that.
OK, I understand what you mean.

Re: Any way to detect if DoubleBuffer is on?

Would checking for #ERR_NODOUBLEBUFFER with GetLastError to continue execution or disable double buffering be a clean way?

Re: Example Linux arm + Rasberry pi 3 B + does not run

Have you set it as executable?

In a terminal window type:

sudo chmod +x yourfilename

Or you can set it with RMB (sorry, I'm not at home and don't remember the option but it is easy to find. Maybe in properties?)

Re: Understanding asynchronus mode

For the code segment, you have to use the [_code] and [_/code] tags but without the underscore, like this:

Re: Instruction to set a negative number to positive

Hello Juan Carlos,

you just need to multiply the numbre by -1. For example:

-3 * -1 = 3
3 * -1 = -3
-134 * -1 = 134

Re: Understanding asynchronus mode

Hello, I also had trouble trying to understand Asyncronous operation, but I think I'm understanding it a bit now. So others could do a better explanation. But this works for me from your example code. You have to call AsyncDrawFrame to actually show your async objects. @DISPLAY {Mode = "Windowed", W...

Re: @DISPLAY vs CreateDisplay arguments

@DISPLAY is a preprocessor command, which are processed before the rest of the script, so your variables mywidth, myheight and mycol don't exist yet.

Re: How to Clear display Empty when having BGPIC?

@Bugala That basically I could have had Game running on BGpic 1, and inventory in bgpic2, and when ever i wanted to peak to inventory, i could have used displaybgpic 2, and then use displaybgpic1 to get back to game. AFAIU Display library is what you need for that (CreateDisplay, SelectDisplay, Open...
