Re: Icons in Menus

Only in system menus do icons remain unsupported because it's OS4 only. Well, that's what I said, this is not entirely true. It is true that the menus being displayed by AmigaOS3's intuition.library cannot handle the images. But if the same menu is displayed by MUI itself (i.e. activate MUI prefs -...

Re: Icons in Menus

I think MUI supports it now but it isn't in the MUI version that is shipped with FE. Nightly builds of MUI4 are available for free for AmigaOS3 and AmigaOS4. And the official release of MUI4-2015R2 is scheduled for tomorrow. The main window of the NewStuff window features a pulldown menu with an im...

Re: Floattext Inner Background

I cannot tell why the custom background is applied to the wrong object, but all subclasses of List.mui set their background internally to either MUII_ListBack or MUII_ReadListBack. As Andreas already said this is something that should not be changed, as it contradicts the consistency of what the use...

Re: ListView ContextMenu

I am using hidden columns to store data inside the MUI structure that I don't necessary need the user to be able to see. MUI cannot know which data is considered private and which is public. Hence it shows everything that it is requested to show. And hidden columns are not meant to store private st...

Re: ListView ContextMenu

What's wrong about the menu? The context menu is intentional and does always exist for the list's title object. For example the menu is the only way to make invisible column visible again, i.e. if you resized a column too small to become hidden.

Re: How to set/change the Cursor COLOR in TextEditor ?

There is no way to influence the look of an instance of TE.mcc from within the application, except frames. All these settings you are thinking about are user definable settings which cannot be overriden by an application. This is consistent with MUI's general handling of the GUI's look&feel. Only ve...

Re: FixedFont attribute in TextEditor broken or?

Working now here. You have to make sure that you configure a fixed font in the TextEditor.mcc MUI prefs because there is *no* default one and also no fallback to MUI's fixed font! So you have to explicitly configure a fixed font in the TextEditor.mcc prefs or it's not going to work. Please note tha...

Re: FixedFont attribute in TextEditor broken or?

@marko If TE.mcc ticket #111 was opened by you then it is missing the absolute minimum required information. You just stated "it doesn't work", nothing else. No version, no operating system, no code snippet, nothing. This is not how bug reports are going to result in a fix for the problem. And you o...
