Re: How to remove text output/text object

I agree with jPV, you can define an are of your display : you can clear it with the Box() command and update it with the TextOut(). An alternative method I've used in some project is to update the fps counter into a brush: you create a brush, use the SelectBrush() / EndSelect to clear an put your te...

Re: New plugin: Json Parser

Hi guys, I've noticed only now this thread! Sorry! :D Yes, I've a written JSON parser to decode server answers for a project but I've not published it yet because the code is dirty, no comments at all, but it works fine. Re: Best way to save settings etc.

If you encrypt zipped files I suggest to do not store the password in clear in your code, use a function to decode the stored pwd and then use it to decrypt your data, also do not store the password in variable names like "pwd" or "pass" or "password" so that it can be harder to find the pwd assignm...

Re: Show Cursor in InKeyStr

Ops... I'm late here :)
I think it is a great addition to InKeyStr(),I've several inout requester routines that uses it but the user does not have the ability to see where is the cursor. Surely I can code it, but an inbuilt support wuold be awesome :D

Problem with InKeyStr()

Hello, if I set the password flag the InKeyStr() function returns asterisks instead of the typed string. a = InKeyStr(#ALL, 100, False) DebugPrint(a) b = InKeyStr(#ALL, 100, True) DebugPrint(b) DebugPrompt("HIT ENTER") I'm using it with Layers enabled, but the same problem exists also without layers...

Re: My new documentation site and about where I'm heading :)

I've written a tutorial showing how to implementing a Drag & Drop system in an Hollywood display, it is not related to onDropFile event, instead it shows you how you can arbitrary drag any objects on the screen over a target object, using a sprite to simulate the object dragging. It is available for...
