Re: Is RapaGUI slower on Windows 10 than on other platforms?

Sure. Use your own Dialogs example. Insert this code at the bottom of the script, just before the main loop. Function p_load() adressbook = CreateList() If Exists("adressbook.dat") moai.DoMethod("lv", "clear") OpenFile(1, "adressbook.dat", #MODE_READ) adressbook = ReadTable(1, {Adapter = "default"})...

Re: Event handler passing through to default behaviour

I did try to create a workaround by switching on/off the TitleClick notification. But even just having this one line in the script will kill the sorting moai.Notify("lv", "TitleClick", False) As an alternative I now use ClickColumn instead of TitleClick, and at least sort any column using that appro...

Re: Event handler passing through to default behaviour

I had a smilar experience (in the other sorting thread). It looks like TitleClick does not go well with setting columns sortable.
Hopefully this will work better with the awaited RapaGUI 2.0.

Re: ListviewColumn Sortable="0"

I found that there is no Event called when the column titles are clicked. The "ClickColumn" attribute is only triggered when clicking at one of the items in the listview. Is this a bug? Answering myself here. I found that the issue above is not a bug, and that is the desired behaviour of ClickColum...

Re: ListviewColumn Sortable="0"

Found another issue that I suspect might be a bug. When clicking in a column in order to set it sortable, it will return the wrong column number if the list is scrolled horisontally. Resizing the columns so that the list fits the window without any horisontal scoll will make it return the correct co...

Re: ListviewColumn Sortable="0"

Figured it out eventually. I am now able to change the sorting column to any column I want. But note that you need to click somewhere in the list, at a column in a not-active entry to change the sorting column. First give all the columns an id in the xml file so that there is an unique moai object t...

Re: ListviewColumn Sortable="0"

I did some try/error on this. I found that there is no Event called when the column titles are clicked. The "ClickColumn" attribute is only triggered when clicking at one of the items in the listview. Is this a bug? I made a log of the (msg) passed to EventFunc Here is what happens when clicking in ...

Re: MakeButton Error

You need to put the makebutton line below the function it calls.

And you probably should change OnLeftMouseDown to OnMouseDown

Re: MakeButton Error

I think you need to check the rest of your script
Even just adding an empty function will make it run withot errors. Perhaps your function name is misspelled or missing the ()

Code: Select all

Function p_DialRotLeft()
EndFunction
MakeButton(1, #SIMPLEBUTTON, 0, 0, 100, 100, {OnMouseDown = p_DialRotLeft})

Is RapaGUI slower on Windows 10 than on other platforms?

I made this program that is hosting a growing list of nearly 600 items (each with 10 subitems) that now takes about 20 secs to load from file and into the listview. This is on a core i5 laptop, win10 64 bit. How it works is that it reads the file into a list using ReadTable(), and then inserts the l...
