Re: Questions Regarding Hollywood

Congrats for both buying and getting it to run.

Do you mean it is slow on FS-UAE and Linux?

I installed AmiKit and Hollywood on Windows a while ago and I think it did run smoothly.

Re: can i store functions attributes to use them later?

I am not sure, but I think that your "best case" is not possible. The second version could work IMHO. I have no Hollywood here currently, so this code may not work, but you get the idea: InsertItem(functtable, func1) InsertItem(attributes, {5, 4}) functtable[0](attributes[0]) BUT then you have to ch...

Re: Let's build a Dungeon Crawler with Hollywood-MAL!

Definitely a cool project, although I was never a fan of Dungeon Crawlers. But I watched my brother play Eye of the Beholder and the likes. :-)

Re: Popcolor: Distinguish between click event and set method

Ok, I found a good workaround for my case using the "nonotify" flag when calling moai.set().

But I think my wish can still be useful. What do you think?

Popcolor: Distinguish between click event and set method

I guess it is not possible yet and I assume it also relates to the other Pop* classes, but is it possible to distinguish, whether the color of the Popcolor picker (button) was set after opening the picker, select the color and click on ok (through "Notify") or when it is set through using moai.Set("...

Nope, you haven't and it really sounds like an excuse. :-P :-D

Re: Alternative single line comment character(s)

Sorry, that's just too modern. There has to be some retro touch to Hollywood ;-) Btw, in C the // comments weren't available before C99 either :) Gnaaaaaaahhh! :-) Ok, if you want to go this route :-) : With creating Hollywood you have always show how far ahead you are against other technologies! Re: Alternative single line comment character(s)

@plouf: I understand that. But keep in mind that I don't want the ; to vanish. I just want an additional alternative. @Andreas: I see your point. To be honest, I wouldn't care if the syntax highlighting would not work in this case, as long as the compiler does not complain and it works as intended. ...

Alternative single line comment character(s)

This may sound foolish, but using languages like PHP, JavaScript and sometimes C# on a daily basis seeing the semicolon (;) used for single line comments bugs me really a lot. I know it is a matter of familiarization but to me those ; comments make the code hard to read. So, for the sake of my menta...
