Re: List and strings

Please also read the documentation.

Here is an example with "Not":

Code: Select all

loadedline$ = "Hallo"
If Not loadedline$ = False
	DebugPrint("loadedline$ is not empty")
EndIf

Re: List and strings

"Not" can not be used with string variables.
"Not" can only result in True (1) or False (0).

Re: PostgreSQL for Hollywood

Since the last beta I have written programs testing this library. I was able to find and fix a lot of bugs. Most of these were small mistakes, such as unreleased resources. All in all, many millions of database queries have been completed in the past few days. That's why here is the first final vers...

Re: List and strings

I think a 1: 1 implementation will not work.
I recommend you to use the "Traditional" Method.
In addition, the table library is very slow.

ByteLen() and Unicode

Under Windows10 x64:

Code: Select all

SetDefaultEncoding(#ENCODING_UTF8, #ENCODING_UTF8)
a$ = "H"
DebugPrint(ByteLen(a$))
Normally, the result should be 4 bytes.

According to ByteLen, a$ is only 1 byte in size. :?:

Re: PostgreSQL for Hollywood

Hello p-OS I likely will give it a try. Would be nice. The more people test, the better the library becomes. Your documentation is good ,too. But maybe you'd like to add the output of your examples in the tutorial section ? Good idea. I will do with the next version. I wonder why you decided to manu...
