Re: SonosController

Hmm.. I get hits in the MorphOS debug log when I close program's Preferences window. And if I repeat that few times the whole application crashes. If you can't get it reproduced, I try to find time to test more...

Re: SonosController

Wow, this looks cool and huge! Too bad I don't have compatible speaker setup... but at least the program starts under MorphOS :) Would love to test in in real use...

Re: Virtualfile question

brettarkiv$ = statusfil$ = DefineVirtualFileFromString("", "bingobrett.zip", True) Why do you have two "=" characters here? Assigning a value into a variable will give 0 as the result of the assignment operation itself always (for example, DebugPrint(a = 3) would print "0" even though "a" gets assi...

Re: Execute() and internal commands on newer 68k AmigaOS versions

Everything works perfectly (all separate Execute lines and the script) on MorphOS and OS4. I tested this now on my own OS3.9 (BB2) setup, and it fails there in the similar way to OS3.2. Also fails with Amiga Forever's pre-defined 3.X system... So, executing the ROM based commands seem to fail on any...

Re: RNOArchive

I re-uploaded the 68k version to Aminet. It contains a separate executable for newer AmigaOS versions to avoid a shell popup with LhA things.

Execute() and internal commands on newer 68k AmigaOS versions

I'm not sure if this is a Hollywood's bug, but let's see how it turns up :) I found out that if I try to Execute() shell commands that are internal commands in the Kickstart ROM on AmigaOS 3.2, they fail with an "Unknown command" error. These do work fine with a plain AmigaOS 3.1 (and KS 3.1) instal...

RNOArchive

RNOArchive is a graphical archive manager, that can extract, modify, and create archives. Extraction is handled by the XAD system and the program has built-in support for writing ZIP archives. Writing to other formats relies on separate Shell commands, and their availability and compatibility in th...

Re: Treat missing table item the same as a NIL-variable

You can use RawGet(), it won't fail if a key doesn't exist.

Code: Select all

If RawGet(table, "test")
; these should do the same...
  DebugPrint(table.test)
  DebugPrint(RawGet(table, "test"))
EndIf

Re: Get MUI version

Run() has the problem that it doesn't block the script execution, which you usually would want when checking requirements. So, having Execute() to return the output would still be better for this kind of cases.
