Re: [Linux] Hollywood 8 console mode

Thank you. You were right — I was in a bit of a hurry coming back to Hollywood after a long break.
Now, another issue:
"Double buffering mode is not currently active!" — this error points to the line with the Flip function.

[Linux] Hollywood 8 console mode

I use Puppy Linux BookwormPup. I copied all the Hollywood files from my CD to /root/my-applications/bin/Hollywood: Hollywood, Hollywood.key, Hollywood.sys, Interpreter and the directories [Docs], [Examples], [LinkerPlugins], [Plugins] and [projects]. In the console, when I navigate to Hollywood's ho...

RapaGUI for Hollywood 8

I got Hollywood 8.
Version 2.2 of RapaGUI needs at least Hollywood 9. Where to get an older version of RapaGUI ?

[Linux] Hollywood 8 and hollywood.key

Several years ago, I bought the CD version of Hollywood 8 (multiplatform), which included my hollywood.key. I’ve just installed it on my Puppy Linux. I extracted the tar.gz containing the Hollywood directory, and then placed my hollywood.key into it — next to 'Hollywood' and 'Hollywood.sys'. But whe...

Re: RNOPublisher

Maybe I could calculate some output dimensions and try to tune them a bit closer in a way or another, but it'd be quite PITA work and might not work as user would like in all cases... As for text rendering there are few brand new features in Hollywood X. I think this is a chance to improve RNOPubli...

Re: RNOPublisher

Very useful application. I have created several pages with RNOPublisher already.
Is it possible to make it more WYSIWYG? I often get an info that my document doesn't fit the page size while it looks to fit perfectly.

Re: Hollywood Designer 5.0: The Return of a Legend

airsoftsoftwair wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 9:52 pm Well, a word processor is definitely out of question because that needs much more code that isn't there yet.
It already perfectly works a a simple static page designer, so it would be enough to add a PDF export. Is there a way to export Designer pages to a PDF document?

Re: Hollywood Designer 5.0: The Return of a Legend

Taking into consideration the new enhancements, how close is Designer to a simple text processing tool or an advanced vector graphics editor?
Have you ever thought about using parts of Designer's code to create another tools?
