Using that shell line to launch the sample Hollywood video player, I am able to play any supported video in color without any problem. Without the usewpa option they are in B&W.

Apologies for delay and getting back to this. All videos I have tried through Hollywood Designer are now playing in monochrome. I am now using an R9 270 card, but the behavior was the same with my Radeon HD 6850. System is an X1000 running AOS4.1 FE and latest RadeonHD driver.

In my case the code was generated by Designer and once was color playback as it should be but now is greyscale 100 percent of the time. I will have some time to test it some more tomorrow and try the videoplayer example code you mention. Thanks for your attention.

Any headway on this problem? I created a project in Designer more than a year ago that plays an avi video file.... always played in color before. Now it plays in B&W. Of course all my computer monitors are color. Any ideas? Thanks!

Tonight I did an AmiUpdate rollback to the prior MUI update, and the problem with the black on black toolbar went away. Seems as though something is amiss, however, when the latest MUI update is applied. System is X1000 running lates public release of AOS4.1. (Waiting anxiously for 4.1 Final Edition!)
