"CyberSphere - a cyberpunk adventure"

"CyberSphere" is an icon-driven game developed with text adventures in mind and completed coded with Hollywood 8. In the game, actually based on a text adventure I wrote back in 2009 using ARexx, you explore a cyberpunk-themed world spreading across a fictional town, its undergrounds and t...

Re: LegacyControl

If I do like you say it works like a charm. That proves that I'm a bonehead....

I should actually know that it's better not to code when wife and kids are home: too much clutter...
Sorry for bothering you, guys. My bad!

Thank you for the quick reply.

LegacyControl

Good evening to everyone, I don't know if this is actually a bug, but I can't make LegacyControl() instruction work. I am using H8.0 and, as stated in the manual, it is possible to force the system to play more than one music at a time. Since the tracks I plan to use for my upcoming game are rather ...

Re: Possible bug with Hollywood player for Android

I don't know what to answer. On my Samsung7 my code misbehaves: when in Orientation_Landscape, the color don't change if you directly press on the square button; it only does if you click to its right. But as I said in a previous post, just don't bother: game resolution was way off-standard, and now...

Re: Possible bug with Hollywood player for Android

Good morning Andreas, and I apologize for keeping you waiting. Please find attached the code you requested. It is a mod of the one I originally published. I basically used a smaller screen size (816x551) and then forced it to overstretch to the current device resolution (1280x720). You may notice th...

Re: Possible bug with Hollywood player for Android

Good morning Andreas, with reference to my last post claiming the persistance of a possible bug, I did perform a few tests with a minimal code. As a matter of fact, it does seem to be that the bug is finally solved (thank you for that), however more complex code (like the infamous Middle City) keeps...

Re: Hollywood 8: Supremacy out now!

I was indeed talking about that very issue . Sorry for posting in the wrong thread. I do not doubt your word (I truly know how professional you are), but this is not working for me right now and I cannot understand what I AM doing wrong. Unfortunately, I am about to leave a couple of week for a busi...

Re: Hollywood 8: Supremacy out now!

I downloaded and installed the APK v3.1, flushed the cache and recompiled the applet. Sadly, I am still experiencing the same problems with vertical offsets still slightly shifted. I am wondering if removing the "FitScale = True" declaration could solve the problem.

Re: Hollywood 8: Supremacy out now!

Thanks a lot. I saw the message just now, since I'm really busy with my job this month. I'll try to test it tomorrow and report back.
