Forum question...

Post by Tuxedo »

Hi ALL!

I noticed that in that forum wasnt present a system noticfication of the new messages from last visit...
That was rather uncomfortable...
Any way to avoid that?

Thank you!

I have to admit that I'm pretty much a phpbb3 noob. Is this something that could be configured in the admin's setting? If it is, let me know which switch to modify and I'll do it :)

Unfortunately I'm much noob than you :P
Hope that someone will help here :)
To clarify my suggestion, simply try Amiga.org and see what I mean :)

GOOD WORK!

I am not entirely sure whether I understand what you mean, but there is a "View new posts" link at the top of the forums start page. Just have a look here:

This let's you see a list of topics which contain new postings since your last visit. There, click at the orange little button in front of the topic's name and you will directly jump the the first unread post.

I hope that helps.
