Wow, its very different to my app (or what I have in mind), more complex, much more than I have now;(
As I said, Hollywood and MUI Royale really allow for rapid prototyping of applications. With ECX it's probably going to take ages because you have to write so many things from scratch...

And that complexity is only the tip of the iceberg as I add Area object properties into the mix at some point.

Andreas, still getting to grips with Listtree and nodes having Userdata. The nodes of Dynamically attached Listtree objects are definitely meant to support Userdata in MUI Royale 1.2 right?

Going to try and trim an example down right down to try and get to the bottom of this, on and the DSI i keep coming up against on the other thread.

PS: Is the next MUI Royale version pending?

Sure, this should work.

Yes, just keep removing things until the DSI disappears. Then we know where to look. It could also be a bug in your code of course...

No worries, I'll wait until this thing is resolved.

Andreas,

Once we have together overcome all these on-going issues and shortcomings with both MUI and MUI Royale and my MUI designer nears Beta stage would you be do me the massive honour of becoming a Beta tester? With your advanced knowledge of MUI it would seem stupid to not have you on-board.

I can surely play around with it a little but don't expect in-depth tests because I'm quite busy, as always :)

Not a problem, any testing is surely welcome, I tend to have several testers trying to pull it apart. You are my second volunteer already.

@ djrikki

I wanted to approach MUIRoyale but I looked at it quickly and I've been scared by the complexity (I never approach MUI in general), so your tool is the ideal solution to short up the learning curve. I would be happy to test it now that I want to start a new project.

Unfortunately a little time yet before I can release a worthy Beta.

Amongst other things I am currently working on supporting Hollywood Bridge which means adding a completely brand new tab for Display creation.
