MUI Windows / Jump To Screen

Post by djrikki »

Hi,

Okay, so I can get a Hollywood display to jump into any public screen I want, except it doesn't seem possible at present to programatically tell any presently open MUI windows to move across to the new screen.

Is a Window.Pubscreen attribute planned?

I might add this but forcing windows onto certain public screens is definitely against MUI's philosophy because this decision should be left to the user.

As much as this maybe the case, in practice it looks incredibly silly.

What exactly do you mean by that?

If from the Jack Dashboard I promote a Hollywood display (the Calendar window) to another public screen using the option in the Dashboard - it moves there, but parent MUI windows (in this case the Dashboard) are left behind. Try it for yourself, its not very friendly for the end user, I want to instruction all opened MUI windows to the newly selected public screen.

Ok, I see. I've implemented it now: Window.PubScreen [ISG].
