Highlight counterpart "{" and "}" when on top in Windows IDE

Post by Bugala »

Quite often when i make some tables, it will take me a while before I have either found missing "{", "}"s, or removed extra ones of those.

I remember having used text editors which have had a feature that when there would be for example:

table = { stuff }

and i would move cursor on top of "{", then it would also at same time highlight the other "}" to show where this ones effect ends. It was very helpful since you would instantly see if the other one highlighted was not the one you thought it would be, you already knew you had to fix something.

It would be nice to have this same feature in Windows IDE as well.

This is planned (along with parentheses also being highlighted by the IDE).
